"The Numberer" was the B-side to "Virginia Plain" when Brian Eno was still in the band. Other cool Roxy Music B-sides included "Hula Kula" and "Your Application's Failed" and were also instrumentals.
On another note it was a given that many Island artists at the time would release non-LP B-sides, Sparks being the most conspicuous example. There were enough B-sides released to fill an album ("Alabamy Right", "Lost And Found", "Marry Me", and "Barbecutie" to name a few).
i love b-sides. There is something so fantastic about a throw-away song. Roxy Music should put out an album of just their b-sides.
And all those Sparks songs that you listed (b-sides) are superb.
