Besides my little talk on Boris Vian's classic novel "Foam of the Daze" (L'ecume des jours) at Book Soup on February 28 I will also be handing out free cds to those who attend the event. The Various Bookcovers for ET ON TUERA TOUS LES AFFREUX

I am consistently obsessed with book covers. As one can gather TamTam Books are putting out Boris Vian’s ET ON TUERA TOUS LES AFFREUX (To Hell With the Ugly) this coming Fall.

As noted there was a graphic novel of sorts (down below) – and the edition above came out in 1965.

This coming fall, TamTam Books will be publishing Vian's ET ON TUERA TOUS LES AFFREUX (To Hell With the Ugly) with English translation by Paul Knobloch.

I am thinking of adding illustrations to the TamTam edition of "To Hell With the Ugly." What I have in mind is something retro looking - let's say Hardy Boys circ. 1940's. If anyone can do something like this contact me at tosh@tamtambooks.com.
